I am often asked why I wear a lot of black and am not too prone to perform colorful experiments when it comes to my dressing style. Well, first of all my natural skin color is rather pale - in the summertime, the greatest blessing that the Sun rewards me with for spending long and exhausting hours outside, are merely numerous freckles. As a consequence, my firm belief is that bright colors just do not suit my complexion.
Second of all, however, and this is probably the main reason - after having lived in Paris a while ago and observing the oh-so-elegant parisian ladies strolling down the Rue Saint-Sulpice, I came to the conclusion that black equals chique. Black is timeless, classy, trendy, sophisticated - all at once!
But, as we see, the days are getting longer and brighter, the sun is shining and you might want to complement your wardrobe by something fresh yet equally refined. Et voilà - noir et blanc!
